I have always enjoyed oatmeal raisin cookies (although anything with chocolate far outweighs them for me). But they are one of my husbands favorites (and my son's too so it seems). These are not some special recipe... just the regular, off the box, Quaker oatmeal raisin cookies. As I was making them it brought back fond memories of my grandmother. She made these often, and especially for my dad on his birthday and other holidays. She passed away last year and I miss her very much. So Gram... these are for you!!
My Grandmother and Grandfather.

Very sweet! The cookies and your Gram!! We miss her too.
I love how cooking ties families together. What a sweet way to remember your Gram. My dh loves oatmeal raising cookes too, but I much rather have DARK chocolate. The oatmeal must be a guy thing.
